I still have no philosophy for my potting. I still enjoy it greatly, indeed, what would I do instead? However, the sculptural side is becoming stronger, more and more of my work is handbuilt. That is not to say I don't find pleasure in a row of thrown mugs, or a batch of teapots, I do. Decoration and drawing are being satisfied by printmaking. This is becoming very demanding, sometimes it overtakes me completely and I have to drop the clay tools and grab the gouges. How delightful!
